The Battle for Britistan

...it was noted in England that the Queen, in order to accommodate a Muslim employee, had an Islamic prayer-room opened at Windsor Castle...

Windsor Castle and the Town of Windsor are among the most historic and essentially "English" parts of England. ...

I can't find any news of Christian chapels being opened in Saudi Arabian palaces

Muslim rioters wrecked a house in Windsor which had been rented by four British soldiers returning from service in Afghanistan...

More rioting followed...

a Muslim was allowed to enter a hospital and harass a wounded paratrooper... "You have been killing my Muslim brothers!"

Jack Straw, ... has suddenly come out and insisted Muslim women remove their veils ...

When the Danish cartoons of Mohammed were published, he attacked the European papers that printed them, not the mobs who burnt the Danish flag...

There have been Muslim demands for Straw's resignation...

... Parliament may need to legislate to ban the veiling of women and that "It's time we stood up for our Christian heritage."

... even an element of the Anglican Church, ...having the gumption of a wet crumpet...

divisions between communities have been deepened by the government's schizophrenic approach to multiculturalism and "privileged attention" to Islam...

preferential treatment has been afforded the Muslim community despite the fact it makes up only two or three per cent of the population.

Britain remains overwhelmingly a Christian country and moves to label it a multi-faith society suggest a hidden agenda.

using public funds to fly Muslim scholars to Britain and shelving legislation to ban forced marriages...

Can it be that Christianity is at last starting to defend Western civilization?"

... novelist Martin Amis, ... attacked "miserable bastards" in the British Muslim community who were brainwashing young men into joining a death cult.

Okay Ivan and all of you others in the know, what say you?

This article is very heavily excerpted and the article itself is a very good read and well worth the time to follow the link.

shelving legislation to ban forced marriages
This is the most incredible thing to me. Can you imagine if the Church of England, or any other Christian Church, gave the slightest hint of criticism of women in the workplace? Can you imagine if even one priest made one remark about a woman's place being in the home? Can you imagine the outcry from the self-proclaimed "feminists" of England?

But actual slavery, on British soil, slavery of women, large numbers of women, officially sanctioned slavery, lifetime servitude to whatever bearded, bathless cretin the poor woman's father feels like selling her to... well, I guess when it comes to that, the "feminists" are off doing other things. Too busy to talk about that. Suddenly they're all soccer moms, or something, and don't really have much time for politics.

There is nothing lower on the planet than a leftist. A nematode worm walks tall compared to the average cringing leftist coward who sells out his/her country in the morning and his/her "core beliefs" in the middle of the afternoon. What disgusting slime they are.

Well it was the Church of England school that asked the women to remove her veil now some see this as discriminating against her and her freedom's.

She claims that she did not actually wear the veil whilst teaching but only when a male colleague entered the room that seems the crust of the matter.

Personally I cannot stand to see women with the veil for 2 reasons.

1) It signals oppression though Muslims in England say no it signals freedom because it is their choice and no one forces them to wear it.

2) In this day and age of terrorism you cannot identify the person on security videos/photos/CCTV or by personal recognition.

I am not sure if I would go as far as France have and ban head scarfs in schools because I am sure there are some Christian sects/dominations that still wish to wear some form of head covering in public but I think it maybe something to consider.

I can and can't in a way because a lot depends how it affects your daily life.

Terrorism affects my daily life so the WOT issue to me is easy to comment on because in public areas even locally security is tighter etc etc. So you are aware more of the threat to you and your country/culture.

This one though in some respects linked I have very little personal experience of. I work in a company which does not have one non white employee and the only day to day contact with a none white is our local Pharmacy even my doctor is white which is unusual.

On the other hand my dad's best friend who lives in South East London has the opposite situation and often feels intimidated.

So I realise there is a problem especially in the inner cities and suburbs but it does not affect me day to day.

I have also noticed that even in my area there is a growing Englishness. A lot of people put up St George flags for the soccer world cup most came down but there are few that are still flying (flag displaying is unusual in ordinary British/English homes only very large posh one do it and then not many). We even still have one at work draped over one of the barriers of our mezzanine area in the stores.

I think this is why Jack Straw spoke out; even if he is not prepared to say so has obviously got feed back from his constituency white members regarding their feelings about our culture being under threat.

Also when people spout about multiculturalism most of them have no idea what the original meaning of it was and go for the soft modern meaning of acceptance for all.

Sorry I cannot comment more but I have very little first hand knowledge and daily impact on my life. I am still free to do and say and wear what I wish within reason or modesty allows.

A house locally that always has an English flag in the window I think I can remember it for over 5 years now

Flag at work

A good sign? ;-)

Hope the English keep that feedback coming -- enough to overwhelm the Muslim feedback!

I think that we have an exaggerated sense of waiting to be fair to all and often we put up and not vocal but I think this is changing.

I think the WOT has changed this and many English people are willing to speak even if not publicly at present or to officials in private they are to each other and that IMHO will result eventually in a more public discussion.

A Moslem prayer room in the world's oldest inhabited castle???

William the Conquerer who built the thing would not approve, I think.

Marriage laws are determined by the states, but I believe coercion is grounds for an annulment in all of them.

The British are the ones who have in the past been the leaders of the effort to put the hurt on the Asian tyrants and murders who sought to conquer the West. It's hard to believe, even as tolerant as the British people are, that they would long suffer so vile an enemy among them. When I think of this new breed of fascists, I'll try imagine them as a mouse dancing in the mouth of a British cat. It's almost dinner time. ; )

Thanks for the post and the photos.

(though for some reason I can't find any news of Christian chapels being opened in Saudi Arabian palaces in reciprocation)

Not a problem! How many Christians (or Jews, Hindus, etc.) are employed in Saudi palaces? Just a rough estimate . . .

I've been reading too many articles written from the British perspective. "Asian" to me really menas oriental, and I don't mean that. Swap out "Islamofascist" with "Asian and it will make more sense.

Coffee...need coffee...

I don't think he built the gift shop though.

The 'prayer room' is an empty office that one of the employees was given permission to use for religious purposes during her break time. No big deal.

Yes there are. In fact most of our junior schools are Church of England funded and we also have state Catholic Schools.

Yes Asian has a different connotation in Britain than it does elsewhere.

When we say Asian we mainly mean muslim Asian. We tend to use far east for the other orientals.
