I'm very much in favor of academic freedom, because once you start making exceptions, you'll have even worse politicization than you have now. The leftists control the universities, and they'd soon fire those few conservatives who remain.

But I must say I think this is over the top.

Since when is an awful, immoral, outrageous fruitcake qualified to teach students in a public university? Moreover, his particular delusion impacts directly on the course he is teaching.

How does the left make up it's mind?? First it is Ward Churchill saying that the US deserved 9/11, and now it is that Keven Barrette guy saying that our government caused 9/11. I don't get such wackiness.
