What kills me is that Kerry implied that anyone serving in the military is stupid. But he served in Vietnam and he VOLUNTEERED and was NOT drafted. So I guess that makes him stupid.
The Heritage Foundation says that the the demographic characteristics of volunteers have continued to show signs of higher, not lower, quality.

Actually, Kerry got four draft deferments; when the fifth was refused he went into the Navy to avoid going into the Army.
