I sincerely regret that my words were misinterpreted
He uses a passive verb, but the accusation is that if you thought he was talking about the troops then it's YOUR fault. Not his.

Keep talking Lurch............You are such a poor excuse for an American, let alone a US Senator. He has been taken to the woodshed by his fellow Dems, and his wife probably made him write this apology. Like a kid caught doing something wrong, he denies and denies till he finally has to apologize, and everyone knows he is not sincere. Dispicable

I noticed the only democrats telling Kerry to apologize are the ones running for office. They are a day late and a dollar short.
Where is Durbin, Kennedy, Reid and Pelosi et al out there telling Kerry he should apologize?
Just proof they agree with Kerry.
There is something else I would like to point out. Anyone who votes for a Democrat is taking a terrorist in the voting booth with them. They have the same talking points and mindset.

He sure does downplay his "apology."

You would understand if you had benefited from an elite education and the life long company of American's elect. Not having done so, you are confused and in error. Still, be comforted that you and other little people like you, will receive proper leadership from your betters.
