This was especially offensive to me. I took a Navy scholarship to become a Navy trauma surgeon so I could help our marines. I got into nearly every medical school I applied to: national scholarships, and published twice in top 10 scientific research journals before turning 22. John Kerry has no concept of the academic and moral caliber of the US Armed forces.
I am ashamed he is an American, and I am damn proud to be one.
