Why would they develop an ICBM when they could just buy them from Russia/China/N. Korea? Durrrr.
Well, the Israelis will take care of them - they heve the fewest inhibitions and the strongest incentive.
I don't know if they have the capability without using nukes themselves. Taking out Osirak was a major challenge, and this would be exponentially more difficult. I doubt their current government, who couldn't even finish off Hezbollah, has the seeds to do it anyway.
So let them use nukes. There are VERY few more deserving recipients on this planet.
What Iran is developing are IRBM's or Intermediate Range Ballistic Missiles.
Thank god Saddam and Sons are gone, imagine a nuke arms race between Iran and Saddam.
How exactly would they be incapable? Haven't they already got missiles capable of hitting Europe (and Israel)? An intercontinental missile would seem to be only a few steps away.
Out of those options they should buy either Chinese or Russian (Russia has a not-so-great track record, but when is the last time China has launched a missile? Although they successfully launched a man into space..... ).
I think you're referring to rockets. Aka buzz bombs.
