Did you hear the interchange Savage played between Bush and that reporter?

Based on the answer Bush gave, Savage was correct in at least raising the idea.

I can't say I agree that it's true: but why would Bush say he would have a better chance of passing an immigration bill now?

It was a curious answer from Bush.

Bush said it because it's true. On that one issue he agrees with many dems. I may not like it but Bush told the truth. Bush will likely get his amnesty passed now and wouldn't have before because of the House.

What in the world does that have to do with Weiner's absurd claim that Bush purposefully tried to get dems elected? In making such a stupid comment Weiner ignores Iraq, terrorism, wiretapping, taxes, social security reform, Supreme Court Judges, Bolten, energy and countless other issues Bush is obviously at odds with the extreme leftist dem leadership on. If Bush wanted the dems to win why did he lose so much sleep campaigning on the road for Republicans?

So Weiner's statement reflects someone who is incapable of thinking about more than one thing at a time. He arrives at a bizarre conspiracy notion based on a single issue while ignoring countless other contrary issues that Presidents deal with. The guy has extremely shallow logical reasoning capabilities. He's just a pompous lightweight hothead. Anyone who accepts such a strange conspiracy notion is frankly quite stupid.
