After a heated public meeting Tuesday night that was repeatedly interrupted by boos and applause, the Pahrump Town Board adopted an ordinance that targets illegal immigrants.
The ordinance declares English the town's official language, sets restrictions on flying foreign flags and denies town benefits to undocumented immigrants.
Approval of the ordinance was met with a standing ovation and cheers by many of the approximately 250 people at the meeting.

I understand that no state entity can legislate anything to do with immigrants, legal or illegal. All of these community efforts will be struck down. Too bad. But at least if congress would listen, they might get a clue as to the national sentiment on illegals.
Another American community has now had enough of the Bush, Kennedy, Clinton, McCain, Giuliani invasion. Good for them. We may have to take back our county one city at a time.
Let me remind everyone that shagging ass across the border does not equal immigration. It's a crime folks!
Arizona just passed a ballot measure making English the offical language of the entire STATE.
It passed with 70% of the populace voting FOR it.

But on the plus side, the one angle that could survive any court challenge is code enforcement. Eliminate the 50 illegals living in a one bedroom, the cars on the front lawn, the trash and the animals, and you have destroyed the illegal's business model - it becomes prohibitively expensive when one illegal has to pay all the rent and all those fines...

Been years since I was in Pahrump - last was on the "Baker to Vegas" run.
The ladies were up at the junction of Hwy 95 and 160, Lathrop Wells IIRC.

These Godfathers are in contact with some hometowns in Mexico by phone, arrange the crossings, finds the jobs and the housing. All out of the goodness of his heart, of course. And I'm sure those storefront "Envios Dineros" are in on the arrangements, too.

Just think what would happen if thousands of communities passed these laws. It would tie-up the left for years!
