"...as for reading the lips of dead Nazis...useless. Pointless. They lost. They're dead. Only a few boys confused about their sexual identity want to grow up to be like them."

Yeah, what possible value could there be in the study of history

It said the tremors were in his "arm'- singular. Was the film shot before or after the bomb that injured his singular arm?

He is also seen teasing Braun about a screening in his cinema at the Berghof. "I understand you didn't like the movie last night," he says. "I know what you want. You want Gone with the Wind."

Nah, misread lips or translation. It went:

He is also seen teasing Braun about a screening in his cinema at the Berghof. "I understand you didn't like the movie last night," he says. "I know what you want. You want hot buttered popcorn.""

actually, what the actors of silent films were actually saying would probably be very interesting (...at times, but deadly boring at others). supposedly, the actual dialogue was either made up on the spot, or pretty raunchy, or both...

Hey, we all have bad days, Adolf.

That's cool technology. Does anyone know if there's a handheld device (yet) that hears speech and prints it in readable text? (Good for deaf and hearing-loss people)

Are you cybertech companies listening? Big market here. Or at least a viable market.

You are pleasingly svelt."

"You talk about a dress that does not fit … imagine my problems,"

I wonder what it says about Hitler, that his life partner was someone like Eva Braun.

Sketch of Eva Braun by Hitler

Having verbalized Hitler I wonder how much vid only footage we have of Bill and Hill from his administration. Run it through this, post the results on the web and see if any of their mysteries are solved.

Hitler wanted to create a master race, but he had the genetic disorder of Parkinson's disease. Interesting

Many blame Der Furhrer Parkinson's on years of Methamphetamine abuse especially the declining quality of the drug supply in the final war years.

Holy cow! The implications for this new technology are HUGE!

It is like taking every silent newsreel in history and going back in time and putting lapel mikes on all the characters.

This really is huge!

I love that poem. I have a complete book of her works.

Since the name of that poem is daddy, it's interesting that her dad died from gangrene on one of his toes.

He only spoke German. People from other countries that went to his rallies that understood German didn't understand the adulation and enthusiasm the rest of the German audience had for him.
In other words, his diatribes played best to Germans.
