Muslims protest with prayer at Sea-Tac Airport [Planning major protest in Wash. DC on Monday]

Six Seattle-area Muslims gathered in prayer Friday in front of a US Airways ticket counter at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to protest the removal of six imams from a flight in Minneapolis earlier this week.

The prayer lasted eight minutes without incident.

"We are asserting the right of Muslims to be free of fear, free of apprehension, to take an equal seat at the table," said Jafar Siddiqui, a member of American Muslims of Puget Sound.

Afterward, airport patron Frank Meyers, of San Jose, Calif., accused airport terminal managers of being "politically correct" by allowing the prayer service to block a public elevator.

"We're in a war, sir," he told an airport terminal manager. "We're in a war against terrorism. Do you have any concept of that?"

The imams were removed from the flight to Phoenix on Monday night after three of them said their usual evening prayers in the terminal in Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport before boarding, said Omar Shahin, president of the North American Imams Federation, who was one of the passengers removed.

According to a police report, a US Airways manager said three of the men had one-way tickets and none checked baggage...

A national Muslim group has planned a much larger pray-in for Monday morning at Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C.

They don't have any concept of that.

Oh, are they? Are they really?

Oh good. Arrest every one that has said any thing remotely supportive of any terrorist organization, including this country's largest one.

The Democratic party.

What odds this whole thing was pre-planned at their meeting?

I think you all will find my proposal eminently fair, and not at all indulgent of the usual anti-Muslim racism and hysteria appearing on these threads.

I propose that as soon as one Islamic nation builds an aircraft with completely indigenous resources, that all Muslims should immediately be allowed to fly on commercial carriers, providing a council of Imams approves.

Afer all, if it were The Holy Will of Allah that Muslims should fly, He would have given them wings. Nowhere in the Holy Q'ran and the Hadith does Muhammed (MPBUH)mention flying.

Since he covers everything else from stockbreeding and wife-beating, to the proper positions for Muslims to place themselves in whilst attending to excretory functions, this could not possibly be an oversight.

Bearing this in mind, and with the powers granted to me as a Notary by the State of Maine, I, in the meantime, hereby issue this special DownEast fartwah

No Muslims in the air 'till I says so.

I'll let you know how I rule on their driving automobiles after my next trip to Lewiston and observe a few more Somalis behind the wheel. Heard it's a laugh riot, but potentially dangerous.

Just like Jews and Christians in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Syria, Egypt, etc., etc., etc., eh, Jafar?

Just a guess...very high. That was my first thought. Who knows? Planning the incident could have been the main reason for the meeting (doffing my tin foil hat now)

Where were they praying when they traveled by air before 9-11?

The Democratic party.

Please. It's the Democrat Party not the Democratic Party.

Words mean something.

Same as today:

"Death to America! Death to Israel! Death to all Jews! Death to Zionism! Allah akhbar!"

I recently learned non-Muslims aren't allowed to serve in the military or police departments in Turkey.

"One guy,One patriot in a crowd of sheeple"-and i'd like to shake his hand. These muzzies are realy getting obnoxious.Of course the msm bends over backward to portray common sense(kicking them off the plane)as discrimination.IMO the whole incident was a set-up.

How about where did they pray before last week. This seems to be a brand-new age-old tradition.

I believe the group is CAIR. Ladies and Gentlemen, they are trying to intimidate the non-Muslim population. If they start chanting at any U.S. airport, arrest them and deport their sorry terrorists' a$$es.

Why don't these Muslims protest the Terrorists of the same faith as theirs? That would be a good thing and make me think different of them.

Islamic collaborators continue to probe for weaknesses in security, no matter how insignificant it may be. A crack is a crack.

1) I want my driver's license photo, but not my face on it.

2) I'm gonna wear my turban on a flight and insist that it's protected by religious freedom from search.

3) I'm going to recite Koranic verses before for boarding a flight just to see how airport security reacts. After which we have a protest to see how security reacts.

That is the thrust of all of these such incidents. Gleaning intelligence. Probing for weaknesses in the armor.

Brit Hume reported that the prayers were being said extremely loudly, alarming several passengers. Also they paired off and sat in unassigned seats after boarding the plane.

TSA is now doing "behavior profiling". These imams went outside the comfort level of their fellow passengers and airline personel, end of story.

Whiners.
