Stay warm.
Here in north Phoenix, it is already in the 30's and windy. To be in the 20's by morning. You can send some of the snow back toward our direction.

I lived in Champaign for three years and the worst times were the ice storms.
It would rain for days and the temps would hang at 30 degrees.

I guess you can say we get excited easily when we get weather like this. We have an abundance of sunshine, and very few clouds which we would be more than happy to send your way.

Here in California's Coachella Valley desert region, it's already in the mid-upper 40's. Everything's relative, of course, but my thermo hasn't registered anything beginning with a "4" since this past January.
I love the desert. I could not survive in the northern plains. Being cold sucks...period.

I thought this thread was about Hillary declaring for President or something. Thank goodness for now it's just a snow storm.

I'm originally from Joliet, IL and lived in that mess as a kid. Of course, it is always different when you don't have to go out to work in it.
When I lived in Staten Island, NY for a year back in the 80's, I had to deal with it. I was always so glad to make it home and take a nice, hot bubble bath.

My first real "winter experience" was your blizzard of '77. I'd been in Oklahoma, which was bad enough, in that January and flew up to Hizzoner International to see my old USMC buddy down Kankakee way for a long weekend before heading home (Home being balmy southern California).
I shoulda popped wise when the plane had to circle over Chicago for 90 minutes due to something called 'wintry conditions'...
I'll take my 120 degree summers over your anything-under-32 winters, thankya very much.
