f this was a big Baptist church that the neighbors didn't want, we'd have a million posts on here talking about the loss of the Freedom of Religion at the hands of liberals.

One would first have to come to the conclusion of moral equivalence between a Baptist and a Muslim. Islam is a political philosophy, not a religion. Therefore your point is moot.
