Okay, for the last time to these idiot reports and reporters:

A phobia is an irrational fear of something.

First of all, to fear Muslims is not irrational. It is quite rational considering the recent worldwide rise in Muslims violence.

Second, discrimination and violence cannot in themselves be catagorized as a "fear". They can, however, be symptoms of fear, but to ignore that distinction is misleading at best.

"The key word is 'respect,'" she said. "People need to feel respected and included."

Perhaps, respect should be a two way street.

The report urged EU nations to develop more clear legal frameworks for Muslim cultural and religious institutions, including ways to make more public funds available to Islamic community groups and help train local imams.

Are public funds being used to train Catholic priests and Lutheran Clergy? I think not.

It is after all America's fault. If we hadn't build the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, and if we hadn't built jets, the poor moslims would have nothing to be blamed for.

I do not fear islam, I despise it. I despise all that it stands for. I despise it's practitioners and is goals. I despise it's false prophet, and the culture of death that he and his follwers have spawned.

""The key word is 'respect,'" she said. "People need to feel respected and included.""

Actually, respect and inclusion are something that one earns.

Dang! I found one small bit of good news within the article. Europe isn't lost yet!

"The 117-page survey details the many divides between the EU mainstream and the estimated 13 million Muslims — now at least 3.5 percent of the 25-nation bloc's population"

I thought Muslims comprised a larger portion of the European population.

The report also said Europe's Muslims are "often disproportionately represented" in poor housing conditions, unemployment statistics and in lower education levels.

Heh, you joke about that but there are a "lot" of people who actually think that way.

"Islamophobia" good grief!

Amazing amount of consideration that 3.5% is given.

It's usually the out-of-control crowd that moves a bell curve.

Yeah, I'd imagine Europeans are thinking the same thing. If 3.5% causes them this much heartache, they likely don't want to get to 3.6% anytime soon.
