I agree It is a hit job on conservatives. I watched it last night for the first time. I noticed phrases like the U.S. “war against the world” and the possession of the Koran was treated as a capital crime. Naturally one of the main characters owned one and regarded it as a thing of beauty. Anyone who doesn’t get the anti-Bush and anti-U.S.bias is either dense or deliberately obtuse.

Well, many of the defenders of the movie are people who liked the original 'graphic novel' (comic book format). Unfortunately, many elements got changed in the conversion to the movie - not the least of which is that in the book, it was the socialist society that wrecked things, but in the movie, somehow all the evils seem to come from the right.
