Barak and McCain have nowhere to go but down. The political graveyard is filled with characters like them who have also fallen victim of this early hype. There is no way they can sustain it for more then a year. They simply lack content.
Too bad Jerry Parks is no longer with us ......... doing his investigative work for Hillary. He could have come in handy looking into "Mr. Obama".

Speaking strictly from an unbiased non political perspective, this guy has tons of potential. All he needs is time and experience for much bigger things.
I almost think the Clinton crime machine is setting this guy up, even pushed him behind the scenes so to knock him out early

Obama has NO idea what awaits him....The Clintons (and Hillary in particular) are masters of personal destruction. Completely destroying anyone who gets in their way is what they excel at- it's what psychopaths do.
I almost feel sorry for him....almost....
The bigger question is why ANYONE would want to put themselves throught the slaughter-fest that will be the 2008 election.
By November 2008, Obama will be Eldridge Cleaver and Huey Newton combined, with his Muslim background thrown in for good measure. Hillary will be a post menopausal ice queen and worse. McCain will be Captain Queeg on steroids whose 5+ years in Hanoi have left him unstable. And you just know the media can't wait to tear into him. Mitt Romney will be a cultist with talk of polygamy, wierd garments, gold plates and hieroglyphics and worse.
Given all the abuse, all the media attention, all the negativity, why would anybody want to be President?
It doesn't pay all that well. It's thankless. And all you have to look forward to is 4 or 8 years of half the country demonizing you and insulting you and your family and all your beliefs.
I fear that all the really qualified people who would actually do a good job don't even bother running because it's just not worth it.
Obama is simply the tool of the Clinton's crime machine to position Hillary for the race.

I see the 'Rats as pushing Hillary in 2008 and 2012 (with Obama as VP). Then they could run Obama in 2016 and 2020. This would give them control of the Executive Branch from Jan 2009 through Jan 2025.
obama's inexperience makes hillary look experienced. neither hsve accomplished anything. they are in this together.
