How insensitive! Don't they know some people are born bullies, it's not a choice for them. It is simply an alternate lifestyle - after all who can say absolutely in the absence of absolutes that bulling is wrong, and haw can any thing be wrong with out an ethical absolute.
Just one more example of a nation's prejudice against bullies and the acceptance of hate crimes against a group already losing their civil rights!
Why not a "heavy petting outercourse club"? A "safer sex" club for those who want to seek out partners who won't go "all the way"?
Hate crimes laws offer no protections for those with glasses or weight problems even though they are often the targets of school aged bullies.
It is the bullies that are victimized by fat kids in glasses - it makes them feel offended, kind of like an ACLU member hearing Merry Christmas at the court house.

Yup, $10,000 to the "aggrieved parties", and $186,000 to the evil ACLU to continue their attacks on America.
And I bet every member of the school board that voted for this is a card-carrying member of the ACLU.
The dirty little secret -- more often than not the school boards who agree to these settlements are HAPPY to do so, and only go through the motions in order to justify getting insurance money.
When a school board thinks the government isn't giving them enough money, they can get the ACLU to sue them to force them to spend more money, and the school board as plaintiff can agree to a settlement that forces the government to raise your taxes by court order. If not the ACLU, then they get the PTO/PTA or the Teacher's Union to do the lawsuit for them.
When are the American people going to wakeup and see that the ACLU communists are the evil bad guys? amen.
