Sorry, but I wasn't jumping to his defense or attacking anyone else for that matter.

As I wrote to another FReeper, my comments weren't directed to anyone in particular but just a general admonition to believers.

"I cannot think of a greater enemy of God than Hussein."

He may be God's enemy but that doesn't Christians are to regard him as our enemy. We only have one true enemy.

As far as that goes, anyone who has refused to submit to Christ's Lordship is His enemy.

Nice words, but they are an example of how one can have the right attitude but reach the wrong conclusion. Consider this: Of the over six billion people alive on Planet Earth last Friday, none of them, not a single one, had killed or otherwise harmed as many people as Hussein, or was even close.

His victims exacted justice as God gave them the authority to in the book of Romans. to be glad they had that right is far from unchristian.
