I am becoming more and more concerned about the frequency of reports about Muslims in this country; it seems on a daily basis we have some sort of problem with them in their work.

I think you'll hear and see more and more of this as they mingle in society. I have a neighbor who is from Jerusalem and a Palestinian. He's as good as any neighbor you'll find, hard working and his wife is the head nurse on the oncology ward at one of the hospitals. He came over when he was about 18 now mid 40s or so, went to college and got his degree, citizenship, etc. Many of his family, brothers, sisters, 1st cousins are here in the US. They are hard working but at the same time know how to play the system for each dollar of freebies due to their minority status. They do know how to chase the dollar and don't mind putting in the hours necessary.

I asked him just yesterday what he was hearing in the Muslim communities about the Saddam execution. His response was that Saddam is now a martyr instead of the murderer he truly is. The Muslim community at large blames the US for his death. He thinks we should now get out of Iraq, leave them to war among themselves, etc. He also believes that things will now get even worse and that Iran is one to be on the look out for... Just my observations of his opinions of course.

Something doesn't seem right. Why was it necessary to hold a press conference? I suppose it could be argued that, after all the non-stop coverage for hours, they saw an opportunity to get what they thought would be good PR on national TV. Or, they needed to get in front of the story, get everyone back to their football games to take this off breaking news--whether for embarrassment reasons or national security.

I dunno, but it was interesting watching the Hispanic spokeswoman. She didn't strike me as one of those clueless PR people they trot out for these things. She actually had info, and was very much in control of things. (Notice when she cut in to the white-shirted guy's turn at the mike and took over?) At points where she said she didn't know something, I wasn't so sure about that.

Let's don't get testy....lol. Here's the rub imho...this kind of stuff is happening all over this country. At our airports, our terminals, our schools,our government, etc.

It follows a simple document...."The Terrorist Training Manual" ...written by OBL and his little jihadis in 1998 and once available on the DOJ website(go read it)!!

Even if 1 out of 100 of these types of stories have a nefarious element...we are in real trouble!!
