The Democrats capture of Congress gives unprecedented power to the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC)the organized left wing of the party. Among its expected 70 members in the 110th Congress, at least seven are slated to chair powerful congressional committees and a dozen or more will head subcommittees. In 2005 the Caucus created a fundraising arm, the American Progressive Caucus Policy Foundation (APCPF), whose capacity to inflict long-term damage on American liberty should not be underestimated.
The CPC is not a tiny faction of lawmakers representing radical university towns and well-heeled chardonnay sippers on the Left Coast. With the control of Congress in Democratic Party hands, the CPC is growing in size and influence. It is shifting into high gear and intends to bring its revolutionary vision to all of America.
The CPC is co-chaired by Rep. Barbara Lee, a Berkeley-based longtime Communist sympathizer.
in the 1980s Lees boss, Ron Dellums, had a top security clearance because he was chairman of the House Armed Services subcommittee on military installations. When in 1983 U.S. forces liberated the Caribbean island nation of Grenada from a Marxist dictatorship, they uncovered official documents showing how Dellums collaborated with Grenadas Castro-backed rulers. Following a fact-finding mission to Grenada, Dellums certified that its new airport, constructed with Cuban assistance, was no threat to U.S. security because it could not be used for Cuban and Soviet military planes.
According to Wall Street Journal columnist John Fund, Dellumss office prepared a report on the trip and asked for the Marxist regime to vet it, according to documents from a meeting of the communist governments politburo that American troops captured.
Powerful House committee chairmen who belong to the CPC include Charles Rangel (Ways & Means), Barney Frank (Financial Services), John Conyers (Judiciary), and Bennie Thompson (Homeland Security).

No wonder the Communist Party, USA, web site features this headline article:
"Carrying the Peoples Election Victories Forward
"by Joelle Fishman, Chair, Political Action Committee, CPUSA, 11/21/2006 16:58
"Congratulations on an extraordinary year of labor-led all-people's front organizing and fightback. The right-wing stranglehold on Congress has been broken. The elections are a stunning people's victory -- part of a hard-fought quarter-century battle to defend democracy."
Signed - "Report by Joelle Fishman, Chair CPUSA Political Action Commission, to the Nov 18, 2006 meeting of the CPUSA National Committee
Future generations may wonder why people who called themselves "conservative" were shortsighted enough to believe that their so-called "principled stand" to lash out at those they called "RINO's" may have delivered the future of American liberty into the hands of others who have had long ties to the enemy among us.
The Congressional Progressive Caucus is the largest caucus in Congress with 52 voting members.
Clowns scare the beejesus out of me. Thanks for giving me some great images for a super-nightmare!
PING
You and Chuckie Finster.
I'm not really surprised .. but they are getting bolder
They are running the show....some just aren't officially in the caucus.
Look at those Chairmen....the most important committees.
Plus, we know that Soros said he owned them...and expect them to dance to his song.
I swear, if Pres. Bush doesn't use his VETO pen, we will be a socialist nation...oh...and the GOP needs to NOT be sucked into voting with these progressives.
None of this information is new, too bad the President just had to be punished for funding education and RX for elderly poor.
Are you holding your breath? I'm not.
2006 was the Republicans election to lose.....and they did practically everything they could to see that they did.
The Washington cocktail party circuit and having their wives invited to luncheons is MUCH more important, it seems.
"...and the GOP needs to NOT be sucked into voting with these progressives."
Alot of moderate and RINO Republicans in the House are already running scared if they are in districts that could go Democrat. One of the first votes taken in the 110th congress saw quite a few Republicans vote with the Democrats to reestablish the "paygo" procedure in House appropriations.
From the Washington Post: "The PAYGO rule, adopted 280-152, requires that tax cuts have corresponding cuts in government spending or increases in taxes elsewhere to pay for them. Likewise, any increase in entitlement programs like Medicare would have to have corresponding tax increases, or equal cuts in other government programs."
The Democrats only have 233 votes, so 47 Republicans voted with them.
Bump!
