  • FOX News reported that former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. John Bolton argued that regime change, he said is "preferable" to a U.S. attack on Iran's nuclear sites.
  • Salon interviewed Michael Ledeen whose catchphrase, "Faster, please!" refers to the speed with which he'd like the United States to compel regime change in Iran.

 

Rice: Talk of Israeli Strike in Iran Shows Risks

  • Reuters reported that Condoleezza Rice said on Sunday that speculation about an Israeli attack on Iran's nuclear facilities underscored the risk of failing to persuade Tehran to halt uranium enrichment.
  • Middle East Newsline reported that a leading Israeli strategist and former intelligence officer said Iran believes it could destroy the Jewish state with one nuclear weapon.

 

Gates: Time is Not Right for Iran Talks

  • Yahoo News reported that Defense Secretary Robert Gates said the time is not right for diplomatic talks with Iran.

 

Iran leader pledges Nicaragua ties

  • Mercury News reported that Ahmadinejad pledged to spend billions of dollars financing projects in other countries to combat the global influence of their common enemy, the United States.

 

Great News! Nazanin exonerated but....

  • Help Nazanin reported that they have received verbal confirmation from the Iranian court that she will be exonerated from the charge of murder.

  • Reuters reported that Iran has asked Saudi Arabia to help ease tensions between the Islamic Republic and the United States.
  • Spiegel Online reported that a German tourist who has been held in an Iranian jail for over a year because his fishing boat accidentally entered a restricted zone in the Persian Gulf has become a bargaining chip of international diplomacy. Iran wants to swap him for a convicted assassin serving a life sentence in a German jail.

Yup, and he's not the only one. More and more middle east experts, academics, military men, politicians are saying the same thing - we need to bring down the regime in Iran.

Of course a Regime change is preferable. But that isn't happening. It hasn't happened in 30 years. How much time do we waste, waiting for a Regime change? The Mullahs and their puppets in government are getting closer everyday. How much time do we still have? I think we have run out of time. And there will be no big revolt in Iran. It will be business as usual, under the Mullahs. And they will obtain nuke technology, very shortly. And No One will stop them. And this will do nothing but create more states with more nukes. On and on it will go. If Iran is not stopped. It will lead to unprecedented numbers of countries with nuclear weapons, or those trying to obtain them.
