Bill Richardson disrespected Hillary, by declaring this weekend as well. He didn't even give her the weekend. First Hispanic to run, and all that. LOL.

I agree. Within a year, both women will be sitting quietly in a mental hospital, well out of sight.

One thing for sure is; All New Photos of Mrs Senator Bill Clinton Will be FUUZZZEEEYYYy ( out of Focus)

They were contenders, not candidates. Osama didn't enough experience to get serious votes for Hillary to announce this early. The timing of her announcement re the news cycle makes it look like even more of an impulse move. She screwed up. Hillary doesn't wear well.

After seeing the Democrats who have tossed their hat into the Presidential race so far, I guess Bill Richardson thinks he has a real chance of winning, and he probably does.

With this presidential campaign starting far earlier than any in history, Mrs. Clinton, Senator Barack Obama of Illinois and their five Democratic rivals find themselves facing 400 more days before the nomination is sealed up.This is another huge problem with the political system today, and once again we have the libs to thank for it. We're essentially in continuous campaign mode now - before 2000, these candidates wouldn't even be forming their exploratory committees until late summer, and we still wouldn't hear much about them until primary season was underway next year.
Now, here we are almost two years out from the 2008 election, and all we'll be getting is politics 24/7 as these candidates jockey for position and take shots at George Bush. And the media will be there to give us every single bit of detail. That's fine for political junkies like most of the people on FR, but most people are not junkies, and they get tired of hearing about it and burn out on politics in general. Hell, even I think it'd be nice to have a few months where there was no campaign news.

I understand your exasperation at the endless campaign, but there are a couple of contributory factors. One is that there has not been a wide open Presidential race since Eisenhower got elected. And at that time, there was pretty much no television, let alone three 24/7 news networks with ample amounts of time to fill.

How about a face gone????
To: veronica
OTOH, maybe this is a game of "lowering the expectations."

I agree. If she's not perceived as the underdog, or a victim, then she's got nothin'.

She must fear other Rats more than any candidate Republicans can put, otherwise she would not have been so easily smoked out by Obamarama.

Bob Dole may look good compared to who gets the Rep nomination, unfortunately.

Nonsense. This is only to get Republicans off guard. The Hill is a real danger to this country.
To: edh
Harpo certainly had more talent and what he said made much more sense.
