Yeah, sure beat all, don't it? The cops spend endless hours on the highway snagging motorists for speeding, for our "safety". Same for the anti-DUI laws, DUI checkpoints, seat belt checkpoints, and all the rest. And yet when someone pulls a stupid, not to say dangerous and/or illegal move and someone dies, they get little more than a slap on the wrist.
