No, "My Bad" doesn't make it better, but nothing here says it was anything other than a tragic accident. Even talking on a cell phone, as much as I hate seeing people needlessly doing it, doesn't even come close to gross negligence. Unless she was on something or traveling excessively over the speed limit, this is an accident that should not result in criminal charges. Though I've never heard of misdemeanor manslaughter before, its obviously not a very serious charge and even if found guilty, she will get probation at the worst.
