There is not one leftist, socialist or liberal regime that has been peaceful. They have, ever one, been marauding, malevolent and murderous. They appeal to cowardice, racism and hatred. Witness the anti war crowd here in the US.

There was a caller on Sean Hanity's show yesterday, a wounded vet who was counter-protesting that mob and he was (you guessed it) spit on and called a baby killer.
Much as I hate liberal socialist regimes, I could point out that Sweden hasn't been up to much since it went socialist.

Canada and Sweden in the 1960's and 1970's were both peaceful, and both were leftist, socialist and liberal.
