"Fair Trade" is like Pro-Abortion people saying "I'm not Pro-Abortion, I'm Pro-Choice."
In other words, it's a semantics game that means nothing. He's anti-free trade, period.
To: texastoo
You're dillusional if you think he's a strong candidate nationally.
If you think he'll win anything but bright red states, you don't know what you are talking about.
To: Antoninus
Go, Duncan, go!
Thanks for the ping!!

You're delusional if you think he's a strong candidate nationally.
If you think he'll win anything but bright red states, you don't know what you are talking about. He has about as much chance of winning in the great lakes region, Iowa, New Mexico, Florida, etc. as I do of being elected President of Zimbabwe.

Duncan Hunter is the real deal. A Conservative on the issues and
leadership abilities to prosecute the WOT. Duncan Hunter in ' 08.

Thank you for your opinion. Why not just let us be? If you are so confident he won't win, what does it matter to you if a few of us tilt at a few windmills on our own time in support of his candidacy?
Really... me begins to thinks that thou protest too much!

There they go again. $700 billion trade deficit or 5.3% of GDP and we are the ones who are going to destroy the economy. Most of our defense hardware is now from overseas (a good portion of which is from china) but hey at least my DVD player is cheap. Millions of Hardworking factory workers are out of work, but hey what 40 something father of 2 and a wife wouldn't want to leave a $50,000 a year job with killer benefits for head stocker at Kroger, after all he should feel sorry for depriving that 9 year old in Malaysia a factory job. I mean we only managed to become the prosperous nation we are on "protectionism" a.k.a. trade deals that make sense so commonsense states to change course immediately.

To: James Ewell Brown Stuart
Oh, I don't really care, I just think it's funny. He's so clearly going nowhere I kind of get a kick of messing with the people who don't see this.
That, and I do worry a little that they will throw a fit when the inevitable happens and refuse to support Romney/Giuliani/whoever, handing the country to Hillary.
To: zbigreddogz
If you think he'll win anything but bright red states, you don't know what you are talking about.
If you think Rudy McRomney will win any red state then you don't know what you are talking about.
Rudy v Hillary - Rudy loses all 50 states because a pro-life candidate will run third party and take away those votes.
Romney v Hillary - Romney wins MA and UT (OK one red state) and Mormonism is exposed as the bizzare cult that it is.
McCain v Hillary - Hillary landslide because McCain makes Bob Dole look exciting.

To: Hydroshock
I don't. Because the Religious Right/NASCAR wing of the party is really no different than liberal Demmocrats... they all want to impose their version of morality through socialism and bigger government.
When I hear 'social conservative' I cringe.
It doesn't matter... the Duncan Hunter campaign is already dead. He has zero chance. None. Zilch. Nada.

Thanks for the ping and have you noticed that the people most against our next POTUSA will not even put any information on their FR page?
Maybe they are all from NE or left coast!

Your situations are so silly, I'm not even going to bother responding.
But as long as we are making silly predictions, I'm guessing I'll be elected Senator from North Dakota with 100% of the vote.
And I've never even been to North Dakota.
To: tfelice
Rudy v Hillary - Rudy loses all 50 states because a pro-life candidate will run third party and take away those votes. Like when Buchanan ran 3rd party in 2000? LOL!
You are so wrong. Your pro-life stance doesn't get you as much mileage as you think.

No it's not. He's a protectionist and would ruin the economy.
Thanks for your input. I guess the socialists who he's running against will do wonders for the economy, eh?
