You are aware that we have lower unemployment then economist thought was possible just a decade or two ago. It was thought that 5% was the bare minimum just on people transitioning from one job to another.
And you clearly don't understand trade deficits or a lot of other really basic economic concepts.
To: kaotic133
No - I'd guess you learned about government in church.
Oooh, there's a good tactic. Attack religious people. I'm sure that'll win votes for the liberal Republicans.

"Let's see if Newt runs..."
I don't think he is electable and that he won't run. That would push a large majority of votes to Hunter. Plus almost all of Tancredo's and many of Ron Paul's.
We'll see.

It's not going to happen. I know that put all of my resources into defeating anti-trade candidate, I know that I'm not alone. More importantly, I know that those positions alone are going to choke Hunter off from the funding he's going to so desperately need.
We shall see...

Maybe Hunter will get endorsed by all the socialist unions who are anti-free-trade? LOL!!!

So if I told you I was a 23 year old woman would that change your mind Probably not... I'd say that you probably learned who to vote for from your minister.

"The fact that you naysayers are drawn to the Hunter threads like moths to a flame tells me all I need to know. His name is getting out there. If you really thought Hunter was a non-entity, you wouldn't even bother posting to these threads..."
No I'm pretty sure its because he represents everything the Republicans are hated for (and in a roundabout way, many of the things that make Democrats so terrible at the exact same time).
Its a platform against the citizens' free will and against free industry.. Its a platform FOR government power and control.

As far as I can tell, he wants to tell Americans who they are allowed to sleep withPlease, give us all a break with this Daily Kos garbage.

He already has some big money backers. Textiles makers in the Carolinas have been mentioned on other threads.

If you don't understand the difference between McCain and Hillary, you aren't smart enough to vote.
To: Lunatic Fringe
Like when Buchanan ran 3rd party in 2000? LOL!
Bush was not a pro-abortion candidate - Rudy on the other hand has an utter disregard for human life. Add to that fact is his unwavering support for sodomites and you have a candidate that is detestable to most Evangelical Christians and conservative Catholics.

You believe freedom works, or you don't.
From what I can tell, no political party believes in freedom. Notice the republican party platform mentions nothing about limited government anymore.
So, how far will the Republicans get after spitting in the face of their strong libertarian allies for so long? '06 showed us a hint.

If you don't understand the difference between McCain and Hillary, you aren't smart enough to vote.
There is a difference. Hillary is a overt socialist that is electable. McCain is a closet socialist that bores people to death. Either way you'd still be voting for a socialist.

Add to that fact is his unwavering support for sodomites and you have a candidate that is detestable to most Evangelical Christians and conservative Catholics. Being from NJ and working in Manhattan and seeing the incredible job Rudy did in NYC is a testament to his record.
But you hit upon a point that many overlook as not a big deal. It is a big deal when these same people you mention came out in force for BUSH in 2004. But if anyone of the groups you mention stay home in 2008 and basically elect Obama or Hillary, they are to blame.

Maybe someone needs to ask the question, "If Hunter does get the nomination, how many of these Rudy McRomneyites will swallow the bile they have been spewing and vote for him?"

That would push a large majority of votes to Hunter. HAHAHAHA! You're dreaming.. Nobody is voting for an unknown. Nobody is voting for someone who pushes such a conservative social agenda. Nobody wants a government with a philosophy similar to the local Baptist church.
Nobody wants your boy.
