Have you read "The Prince" by Nicollo Machiavelli?
It's short, but it's Clinton's playbook. There is a formula for everything in there, from Waco to Monica, all were necessary elements in establishing a following.
Unfortunately, it is the design of a princedom, not a presidency. I believed that the Clinton's wanted Hillary in the White House from day one. She's going to use hatred and greed to get herself there....the same as any socialist.
One of my favorite books of all time.
Macchiavelli was brilliant - in the Prince. He also wrote a book called "On War", but Macchiavelli was bureaucrat, not a soldier, so if you want to learn about war, read Clausewitz and Sun Tzu... but if you want to learn about organizational behavior, everything you need to know is in that thin little book from 1511.
Macchiavelli was brilliant. Everything in that book that he wrote nearly 500 years ago is as fresh and relevant as if it was written just yesterday... just change the terminology a bit and it still all works.
Hitler did this, and even hired photographers to photograph him so that he could analyze how he looked in various poses, and then choreograph these visual cues into his speeches (performances). The Nazis were very well versed in politics as theater, and paid a lot of attention to costume, insignia, stage set, special effects, rhythym... it was theater designed to wow crowds and persuade them to embark upon mad crusades.
