I would ask why, but then again it wouldn't matter...Right???

If you and I got a chance to vote on it, we'd cancel each other out...

Its not personal from my standpoint, I have just "not" seen one single thing about this from wayyyyyy back when it was one of those "under the political radar" projects that would convince me that this is something this entire country would need...

See, there's this trend in local, state and federal government that is looking for "new" ways to generate revenue, and opne of them is this trend to lease out existing infrastructure (i.e.: roads and other facilities) to anyone, foreign and domestic, to run, maintain and make money themselves for multiple years, just to give govenrment a little more juice to run on and spend, without anyone elses input or opinion...

Never mind the project further risks our earned soverienty and security by opening up more ports of entry into the country (wayyyyy inland now), when we cannot effectively secure what we have on hand now...So that alone in my book is just one of the things I have that deserves to torpedo this entire project right now, before they spend and organize too much without even a public referendum to give any green light to proceeed further...

But, if you have something, I would surely love to hear it...And I'd be glad to talk about it...

Besides, my state senator informed me (this last Thursday evening) that he (and a group of other senators) want to stop this thing rioght now anyway...

Lemme know what you think...Not looking to disrespect your opinion at all...I'd just like to see what you got...
