"Oh, I'm sure some folks - like those in Havana and Caracas - would be pretty pleased."

Well, they will be happier than if we elected an American. But no one will be happy, not even them. The reason is, Hillary! wants to be president for one reason, for Hillary! Her vision is her own glorification.
She attempted to revamp healthcare as first b*tch. She failed miserably and just managed to give us HIPAA, which does almost nothing but raise the cost of healthcare. I expect similar effectiveness for her ideological goals. But, she will accomplish her primary goal... being president.

Anti-abortion, pro-marriage amendment, interventionist foreign policy, prayer in schools, teaching creationism, all are trumpeted ahead of smaller government and lower spending.

True enough. The Left is coming at us with a Heavy Tank, and we're fighting back with penny ante pea-shooter wedge issues.

Time to strike at the heart of the beast.

Now that I've made my snarky remark.

Seriously, I read this and said well, here they go again, trying to use fear of Hillary as incentive to vote Rep instead of offering a candidate and a plan that is exciting and inspiring. They still don't get it!

Well If they are reading conservative places like FR's rudy threads, I can see where we might come across that way.

Of course leave it to the msm to pick and choose the threads that support thier theory, even when its the minority of conservatives >:-(

Yep. See, here is the difference between ruthless Marxists and gutless girlie men! Bill and Shrillary went out there and ran against the former Bush when he was polling at 96%! When women started to line up and accuse the Wonder Bill of affairs and all sorts of other things, Bill and Shrillary just dug in and put on the gloves and came out swinging! Our glorious Republican appeasers run and pee their pants two years out from the election. God help us. Where the heck are all the men in this party!! Is there not anyone in this party worthy to be called an American??? Is there not any man that sees the danger and is ready to run to the challenge with a shout!! Hillary does not in any way have to win anything! It is not set in the stars, it is not written on some gold pillar somewhere that Hillary will be the next president!! It doesn't matter whether the press loves her or not!! Al Gore didn't win and he was also ruthless! Kerry didn't win! The press loved them both! The very fact that we are hearing so many stories and polls about how Hillary is so unbeatable, leads me to believe how vulnerable she really is! It's a propaganda war! They want us to quit! They want us to believe it's all over! And if we do, that will be our biggest mistake!

The democrats underestimated Bush in '04, they believed everyone hated him and he had no real chance of winning. The basics of that are happening with Hillary. No matter about her "baggage", or anything else, DO NOT underestimate her or the idiots that would vote for her.

Republicans need to understand they are not too popular either right now. Iraq is a mess no matter what spin you put on it. If there is no significant change in Iraq in the next year, the White House is gone to a democrat. No question about it.

The next thing people must understand is they are not going to get, or win with a canidate that is some 100% conservative. They need to find someone that can appeal to more than the hard right.

If the Republicans lose to this creature they have no one, NO ONE, but themselves to blame.

Exactly!

And Perot did not get Clinton elected. The '92 election was GHWBush's to lose. And he did. He ran a sorry campaign. He didn't even act like he wanted to be re-elected until a couple of weeks before the election. Bush ran a lackluster re-election compaign. He lost -- because he acted like he wanted to lose.

DeLay cut and ran...... Newt, well he's not interested in persuing the nomination until maybe Labor Day of 07.... These are our spokes people?.....
Who's on the other side? Barack Obama, the Nat King Cool of this election cycle. Hillary the Grim, who's promised to confiscate more private property than usual: "I want to take (Exxon's) profits and I want to put them into a strategic energy fund that will begin to fund alternative smart energy.'' Most despots have the decency to use the royal We, but perhaps that's her common touch at work. John Edwards, who demonstrated his managerial skills by hiring as his blogmaster a writer whose ceaseless profanity makes Richard Pryor routines look like a papal encyclical, and showed his concern for "the Other America'' by building a new house large enough to shelter them all. It's all wide open, in other words.

If the Islamists are smart, they won't pull anything between now and '08; an attack would surely bolster Rudy's stock. Put him up against Sen. Clinton, and the results might be surprising. As millions of Democratic wives would tell their friends: "I don't know how he won. My husband swore he voted for Hillary.''

LOL. Yeah, the Rudy fans think he's the only one who can beat the harpy. I don't see Rudy even having that opportunity.

I am a registered independent, and do not reflexively vote Republican. However, I would vote for ANY Republican (even Lincoln Chafee) to keep Hillary out of the White House.

I suspect I am not alone. Hillary probably has more people who would make it a point to vote against her, no matter what, than any other candidate.

Somebody has to say this. Now. This is America. This is it. We cannot, like the Europeans, Haitians, Africans and other assorted foreigners, allow our country to go completely to hell and then say, "Oh, well - we'll just move to America". This is it. We either fight now or die along with our children and grandchildren up to our butts in our own self-inflicted garbage (read: democrat party in power). There is no place for us to go.

It is really pathetic that some people are surrendering that early. Hillary Clinton is not Bill Clinton. She almost has zero charisma, but even worse she is mean and nasty, and worst of all she cannot hide her nastiness and meanness and no matter what the liberal media tries to help her they can hide her nasty and mean character.

When she speaks with this incredibly annoying voice you hear nastiness. You look at her face and you see those mean scary wide open eyes rolling in her face. She has a very b**chy laughter. Even before they know her extreme left wing politics and her incredible flip flops, the majority of voters will quickly realize that she is very mean and nasty and they will be quickly turned of by her. Nasty and mean women are much less acceptable to the public than nasty and mean men.

I live in Massachusetts, the most liberal state in the union, and many liberals I talk to, including young single liberal women, cannot stand Hillary Clinton, and they also mention to me that she is too nasty and mean. People who believe that women will be flocking to vote for Hillary Clinton are very wrong because women are much more critical of another woman than they are of another man.

I am not saying that Hillary Clinton should be taken lightly, but to say that she is unbeatable is an extreme exaggeration and in fact it is a big lie. I do not think the Republicans need to go and dig in her scandals and past life to beat her, let the American public listen and watch her to know her nasty and mean character and that by itself will take 51% of voters away from her.

Sounds good. I've been doing that since '68. I'm not whining and maundering, I'm simply saying that Hillary is dangerous and will be a tough opponent, and anyone who laughs her off is just whistling past the graveyard. How about that?
