Hello I was hoping to get some more help with a problem. Kurt Nimmo had written an article about how the 81mm the US said was from Iran was fake. And the article got spread around so I decided to check into it and found that they do make one. I sent him the information and he updated the article with his mistake. The problem is now he is saying the websites with the information are fake. So I was wondering if I could get some help proving the links etc. His site is Link. A link to what got it started and where I posted my information before emailing him Link. Any way thanks in advance for the help and I hope I posted this correctly and in the right place.
His debunking is by Michael Rivero. Maybe one step above Jack Thompson (bat jack).
Yes I know but would still like to get more evidence to go along with what I have.
Ain't Rivero that tinfoil hat feller that used to post on FR before Y2K about black helicopters and concentration camps in the USA?
If it's the same guy he should drop the crack pipe.
You mean you didn't get incarcerated in a concentration camp? That's one of his less insane rants.
He was by far the most entertaining of the kooks running around FR pre-2000.
For posterity, here is a mirror of Rivero's old website:
http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/RANCHO/index.html
And yes, 8 years later, and the words Rancho Runnamukka is still instantly brought to mind when I here that guy's name.
Yes so he is a cook. But I would still like to find more information about links between Malek Ashtar University and Irans defense industry.
Is he saying that Iran does not manufacture 81 mm rockets?
Oh I don't know..looks like mainstream FR to me. LOL
They started off saying Iran did not make 81mm shells. Now they are saying the links myself and others used to prove that Iran did make and sale 81mm rounds are fake websites.
Here now no one will have to bother following the link to his story.
Here is some of my information...
http://www.diomil.ir/en/amig.aspx?search_id=mb81long. It seems they do make 81mm shells. Several kinds to be exact.
Also notice how English is one language the website is in. And how they use english on there products. Seems english is the language of business and they are in the arms export business.
Edit
Here is another link. http://www.diomil.ir/en/amig.aspx?search_id=mb81smoke. And a photo

Also compare the markings with the images from the evidence. You can see the AZ111-A2. This is the same number for the high exp as the specs sheet that you can see is being linked to from the Iranian website.

"One of the places used by the Defense Industry is their affiliate university, known as Malek Ashtar University located in Lavizan near Tehran, where they are using the ovens there trying to make C.M.C. Some of the engineers and experts who have most recently been involved in these activities are Alizadeh and a woman named Azadeh Ranjbar. "

"Iran's Malek Ashtar University of Technology in Tehran has been working for a number of years on a fighter design called the Shafaq. Billed as an "all Iranian" design, this project was advanced under the guise of being an educational exchange programme with Russia. More than 20 designers formerly employed at Mikoyan, Sukhoi and other companies were transferred to Tehran to develop the aircraft's planform and complete a full-up detailed design. "

The following is a list of Iranian entities or individuals that could have their assets frozen or be subjected to a travel ban under proposed UN Security Council sanctions.

Bump to new posts.
With one Yahoo search I found the "Iran Defence Forum", which also lists 81mm mortars as being made in Iran. Link:
http://www.irandefence.net/showthread.php?t=8215
Among other mortars, is the: 81 mm HM15
Hadid 81mm mortar launchers are of unrifled and barrel-loading type with 360o of firing field. Because of possessing high shooting angle, this weapon enables to fire from behind of obstacles. In regions where routs are impracticable, the mortar can be taken apart and carried by infantry. Due to its simple structure, it can be erected and operated only by two or three persons.
Here is what I found when I searched for Hadid mortars:

Yes I know about the Iran Defense forum. But we are not talking abotu Mortar Launchers. We are talking abotu shells.
I have read a Saddam regime Iraqi document talking about the Iraqi regime wanting to buy "81 mm Iranian model rockets"! and they also wanted to buy "81 mm Saudi Arabian model rockets"!
hmm interesting. But I was looking for more direct proof from now in Iran if possible.
