Thanks.
He hasn't been around FR for a long time. Perhaps he was sent to one of the camps.
No, he was just threatened with being sent to one.
As a military enthusiast I have visited the Iranian DIO website and the links contained within since the beginning of 2006. It really is amazing the length that these idiots will go to to. Just because the Iranian website creators have used stock images of troops then they think that it is a 'U.S.' fake.
The University does have links to military products and has exhibited projects at the Kish trade fairs.
The Kish trade fair:

http://www.iran-airshow.com/Exhibitors.htm
'The Malek Ashtar University which now has inherited the project, hopes against hope that the Shafagh will at last get airborne someday. However, it is not yet beyond mock-up stage.'
'Malek Ashtar Universitys Flying Boat ground effect project. At least two prototypes have successfully been flown. It normally fles 0.5 to 4 metres above water, but a maximum 50m flight level is also possible. It enjoys a cruising speed of 140km/h.'

Kurt Nimmo's naivety is simply stunning. Does he really believe that the Iranian Government would not be publically humiliating the U.S. Government over this claim of a fake website? If such a claim was true then the Iranians would be pulling the details and claims to pieces by use of every bit of the Iranian media. Can Nimmo explain why this hasn't happened?
If Nimmo is so convinced then when does he think that the websites will disappear?
Why hasn't The Malek Ashtar University by now publically denounced the U.S. for faking a website using its name?

Check out this forum from October 2006.
Did Nimmo really think that the website had been faked way back in October 2006? Note the 81mm mortars shells.

Also the link for the DIO can be found at:

Also, how does Nimmo explain the link from the DIO website?
http://www.diomil.ir/en/aboutus.aspx
Every single one of those would have to be faked also and the host DIO website too.

Thanks Tommyjo every little bit helps.
No probs.
Kurt Nimmo spouted this non-sense and quoted the Jaffee Center and 107mm M-30. If he had actually used the link and followed it and actually done some research he would know that the 107mm M-30 is NOT a mortar shell. If he had actually looked at the entire document he would have notice the following:
http://www.tau.ac.il/jcss/balance/Iran.pdf
'Defense Production
Army equipment:
81, 120, 130 and 320mm mortar and artillery ammunition'
Once the DIO website was pointed out to him he backtracks and now claims that the website is a fake. Are these whacko conspiracy nuts serious?

That would mean that every single link from DIO would be fake too. Follow the links and go to the AMIG website that they are also claiming as fake.
As a military enthusiast I have visited those pages since the beginning of 2006. Yes they contain stupid errors, use stock footage and in the English have poor spelling. The Chinese military company webpages are exactly the same. Lost in translation springs to mind!
Do they expect these webpages to simply disappear? Do they not think that the Iranian Government would have publically exposed such fakes by now? If the websites were 'U.S. fakes' then the Iranian media would have had a field day with such exposure. Why have they not done so?
Do they believe that Mr Vahid Karami is all part of the conspiracy?

Yes it seems he is a nut. After giving him the correct information and him just using fantasy now I can see that. But I think it still important that we showed he was wrong:)
I agree. The problem is that will he retract the claims on his website. In a say a years time, when the DIO webpages are still there and the Iranian media have not denounced them as fakes, what will his excuse be then?
I am sure he will invent something.
