It has been a year, by the Muslim calendar

Last time I checked, the Earth orbited the sun once every 365.25 days or so. It didn't go any faster or slower for Muslims than for the rest of us; a year is a year.

As just another of the hints that Mohammad might have been making it up as he went along was that he set the Moslem year at 354 days Why 354 days? The only answer is: why not 354 days?
