This sounds like BS. Either that or the Iraqi army and police have not done diddly squat since they supposedly where taking control of this city sector by sector working from south upward to the north (where a few months back, the remaining goons where operating out of).
As far as the so called training camps. OK. Why are there no airstrikes going on until US and Iraqi troops can go in an appraise what is left. Something just don't ring true on this one.

Why don't we have bombers taking out these training camps? Crimeny, no wonder we aren't winning this war. These animals present ripe targets and we don't pick them off. Amazing.
