Dow is volatile today, but currently down only about 20. At one point it was back up to it's opening value.

Dow Down 37 After Falling Another 209The Dow did not fall "another 209" this morning. On Tuesday, the Dow hit a low of 12078.05. This morning, it hit a low of 12059.54. So this morning's low was 18.51 points lower than Tuesday's low. That's called a re-test, and, as I type this, the Dow is at 12234.18.

My very Liberal office cubicle neighbor said a few weeks ago that the DOW is climbing into record territory because of the Democrats being back in power. Investors have confidence again he said. Talking points I'm sure he's getting from AirAmerica on his drive in.
I wonder what is spin is now.
