Are you comfortable with the state using ANY method to pay for these new roads?

It really doesn't matter. The money can come like manna from heaven and it will still require some land owner to sell some of his precious acreage, whether he wants to or not. There will always be someone not happy and between the courts and politicians, nothing will get done. That is why the people that complain, don't offer solutions. Any solution will have objections and every objection has a cause.

Maybe that is why Nero fiddled while Rome burned. The Senate was debating whether the Barbarians should be allowed to assist in putting the fire out.

Can you blame people for not wanting to sell or have taken away the land they and their ancestors have cultivated (to provide you and I with food and clothing) for hundreds of years?

Thank God We live in a country where We have that option! Like the article says, the concern most people have is related to the business dealings with foreign companies and the states secretive deals outside the view of the public. Even the Senators and Reps in the Legislature said they didn't really know what was going on.
