Yes, the DNC will be happy. You are someone they can manage.
***And you are posting in support of rudy. If you have trouble with what I say, then you basically have trouble with what JimRob says and the whole setup of the Rudy Giuliani Truth file. What are you doing here on Free Republic if you are so unhappy about the direction it’s headed? Time for you to sign up and go to wideawake and generate your own opus.

Giuliani has no affection or loyalty for the GOP. So if rudy loses the nomination, what would be the chances that he runs a 3rd party candidacy? And all those folks who went over to WideAwakes.net, how many of them would come back to Free Republic and/or the republican party? Note that with this new direction where rudy chooses to be honest about his positions, we have been vindicated when we pointed out that he really was a liberal in sheep’s clothing. Some of the freepers who thought he was conservative and twisted themselves into pretzels to make rudy’s positions look conservative should be coming back into the fold, but where are they? They have thrown their lot in with this cult-of-personality candidate and they’ve proven they did not and do not have the interests of the republican party at heart.

The demorats can see our so-called front runners are basically RINOs, and they seem to like it that way. How telling that so many CINOs like you side with them.

GOP Cattle Call 2008: Week of 12/04/06
by Trapper John

Imagine, if you will, that the three front-runners for the Democratic nomination were: 1) Joe Lieberman; 2) a fundamentalist Christian governor of Utah, and; 3) an anti-choice former mayor of Colorado Springs who isn’t just against gay marriage, but who actively and publicly dislikes gay people.

Ouch. That wouldn’t be much fun. In fact, it might well sour the Dem base on the entire primary process. Fortunately, we have a much less offensive candidate pool. But Republicans looking at their real field of candidates must feel much the same as we would in the nightmare scenario above. Because each one of the top three candidates in the inaugural 2008 GOP Cattle Call has at least one trait that makes them anathema to large swaths of the Republican base.

Seems more loyal than all libertines on FR.

I will vote for Rudy if he is the nominee. I won't vote for him as the nominee, unless he is politically lynched in which case he may get my sympathy vote. I am disappointed Sen. Fred Thompson is not running yet.
