Disbarment is too lenient a punishment for this scumbag. He deserves hard time. You can bet that his behavior in the Lax case is not isolated. There could be dozens more people railroaded by Nifong.
I agree whole heartedly. There is nothing more corrosive to a society built upon the rule of law than to have such misconduct in the prosecution of the law.
With great power must come greater accountability and even greater punishment for those who betray the trust granted with that power.
