I guess I'm an uncouth Republican, because I thought it was funny. Republicans act like there are Queensbury rules for a street fight. Democrats seem to have no such inhibitions, and as a result, they win a lot more than their bankrupt policies justify.
I wish someone else would understand what you're saying. All this bellyaching over Ann Coulter's joke.
Hey Fellas! We're not in Aristotle's Lyceum, discoursing with learned though misguided folks. We're up against power hungry Lib/Commies or Neo Communists who would just as soon shoot the President if they could get away with it. They've already gotten away with calling for his assasination four times (twice by the same person). We need to play a little rough to deal with these people and it seems that many do not understand that.

Thank you. Someone gets it.
Political cowardice in the guise of propriety is capitulation.
I agree with you. She is one of the sharpest conservative wits around. That's why the democraps can't stand her. She nails them every time.
I never knew there were so many overly sensitive FReepers. Good grief, folks, lighten up! Maybe you that don't care for Coulter should invoke your constitutional right not to be offended, but please stop piling on. It doesn't become you or make you better than anyone.
I am in your camp on this one, and agree with your assessment of limpwristed tactics and responses by Republicans in general.
Grow some testicular fortitude RNC.
,... yupperzzz to post # 24 , and a "tip of the hat"
though I think she could have made the quip with a much more "crafted" phrase , still using the same word ,...
.. , as The Wicked Witch said , "these things must be done delicately" .. .. no?
