It doesn't annoy me in the least. But I am not surprised that someone who doesn't get the irony of his own tagline would not get Coulter's humor.
Wit requires wit.
It's like jazz. If it has to be explained to you, you will never get it.
And you (sadly) will never get it.
I got Coulter's humor, but like Michelle Malkin, I didn't think it was funny.
