I know this is going to come as a huge surprise to the Always Bitching Caucus but this sort of "Whaaa Ann Coulter is picking on me" response makes Edwards look incredibly weak. It does not help Edwards at all. If he is so weak that a Commentator making mean statements about hims makes him cry, HOW is he going to deal with North Korea, Iran, or Congress?
It doesn't look Presidential or even very manly. It makes Edwards sound weak and petulent. This sort of response ONLY hurts the politician making it and raises Ann Coulter's stature. It is a huge mistake on Edwards part.

A comment like Ann's will give him more exposure for the liberal "feelings" voters

I agree with you! It makes Edwards seem like he can't take it. Hillery will eat him alive. He does not seem like a real mans man. I am sorry but give me Chuck Norris any day. Or at least a hunky fireman!
