Ah, gun pornThey are sorta perdy aren't they?
Give the gun-grabbing libs a few years, and even gun porn will be outlawed.
Here's a Walther P99 without her clothes on.

In 1975, I was on the Southwest High School JROTC Rifle Team in KC, MO. We had a 50' smallbore range in the basement of the school. I used to practice there every day after class, using one of the rifles provided by JROTC: Either a Remington 40X-R or a Winchester 52 (I think). Both were great rifles. I used to shoot at least a box of 50 rounds of .22LR every day. While it doesn't sound like much, remember, these were single shot target rifles, practicing for 3 position matches.

I've got a 625-5, which Ron Power was good enough to "work over" for me. It's awesome!
And your photo reminds me of a really nice guy I used to shoot with, who happened to be an excellent gunsmith. We used to call his revolver/cartridge the .44 Smith & Warren. He modified a 629 to work with full moon clips, and using (I think) .308 brass, created his own version of a rimless .44Mag cartridge.

In Kennesaw, GA, crime is next to nonexistent.
But it was never very high to start with!

A few years ago, after reading the book
SHOOT BACK about the terrorist attack on the Church in South Africa I began to carry in church every sunday. A Sig P245 (45ACP),IWB with a spare magazine. I went ten years before I found out that a member of my IDPA club is an elder in my church (BIG Church) and he carries his 45 in the same manner. With the full knowledge and approval of the pastor.

I used to live not real far from Geuda Springs...
If you barely ( and I mean barely....) blinked...you missed Geuda Springs, KS.

My uncle (who's only 11 years older than me) was on his HS's rifle team in the mid-1960's. He carried his rifle to school on his shoulder, and put it - with ammo - into his locker. So did all of the other members of his team. Not one of them ever shot anyone, or even threatened to do so. Further, no one even looked at them cross-eyed for carrying rifles in public.
Oh, BTW, this was in Queens, NYC.
To: ExSoldier
I read that myself just recently..........
The spare mag issue...caught my attention also.
