I agree ; sun-tanning is just silly. It was fun as a kid to bake in the sun, but it just leads to wrinkly skin (or worse)if you keep it up in your later years.
As long as it's not green. I just think that's so tacky. LOL!
My FIL is NOT Irish by any definiton and he loves to serve up corned beef and cabbage for some strange reason (and it's NOT because of the Scots-Irish DIL). However, eating it on other days other than St. Pat's day kind of takes the special holiday aura out of it for me.

I had a friend who was a red head, just as pale as me and she insisted on sunbathing. All she'd get was a sunburn. I guess she was hoping that she'd get enough freckles so they'd finally blend together into one big tan or something. Never understood that girl.
