Mom Nature is neither good nor bad, she just doesn't care.

A few days ago, there was a story in the Seattle Times saying that global warming enthusiasts had vastly overstated the reduction in the Cascade mountain snow pack in recent years. They had been claiming a reduction of 50%, but the story said the reduction is actually between 5 and 30%, depending on which data you look at.

Forcing little kids to watch al-Gore's money-making, propaganda piece is nothing more than domestic terrorism. Limbaugh said last week that some school is threatening parents if they don't come to see the movie, too.

These multiple postings are having a real, salutary effect. Google has a statistical box beside the film that shows how many separate viewing there have been. Right now it's up to a total of about 270,000, with most of the hits in the last 2 or 3 days. That still makes it a lot less than the number of people who watch Fox News or CNN, but it's definitely creping up on the number who've watched Gore's monstrosity. My only complaint is that somehow the people who printed the film got the lip snyc way off.

There was an episode of Penn & Teller's show that took on Global Warming on Google, but I can't find it so they must have taken it down. It was really good, they took on all the nut jobs. They went to an Earthday rally and got everyone there to sign a petition to ban dihydro oxide (H2O).

The documentary is about an hour. It is a must view. But if you can't hang with it check out around 23 min or so into it when they destroy the basic tenets of Al Gore's man-made global warming theory - CO2 - and whether CO2 is causing warming or is the result of warming.

Limbaugh said last week that some school is threatening parents if they don't come to see the movie, too. They would threaten me ONE TIME and I'd slap a lawsuit on their goatsmellin', Commie asses so fast they wouldn't be able to see straight. I'd own that "school."

If schools would show "Tbe Great Global Warming Swindle", as well as Al's fantasy, I think kids would make up their own minds that Al and his crowd are out to lunch.
I don't know if Al's movie has been shown in local schools or not. Yesterday we found a note by our front door hand written, obviously by a child, that said the following. "Help Save Air Polution Don't want a storm don't drive as much, so I'm here to remind you, do not drive as much. Don't Drive As Much (DDaM inc)

"polar bears"
As an example of the hysteria caused by the gw doomists, I've had to inform at least two or three people that polar bears are not in danger of extinction after they expressed horror at their possible demise. I quoted Matt Taylor, one of the world's leading polar bear experts, who was quite upset with the polar-bears-are-becoming-extinct- crowd. In fact he affirmed polar bears have actually increased in numbers during the last century and can adapt quite well to warmer weather. My explanation was met with cold stares by the people I related this info to. No, they had heard about the bears becoming extinct on tv, so it must be true.

It woud be good if this were available on DVD. We could carry a couple with us in our purses or hand them out to the groupies at Dem campaign rallies, especially if they were only $1 or so.

Quite an interesting film. It's thesis is that sun activity drives temperatures on Earth. No doubt that has been the case, and the evidence demonstrated that. But has it been the case in the last 20 years. Look at the chart below. Just why has the green line bounced up dramatically (temperature), while the red line (solar activity) moved just a tiny bit? The pic of the draft is from the film itself, but the little lucunae to which I refer was not addressed.

I watched 'Swindle' this weekend. It really is engaging, and the science is easy to follow. It's kid friendly, too, so watch it with the fam.
