When I came to your todays post, I thought of, and I don't know why, Hillary and Caligula. I then wondered what the female , ahem, word for Caligula would be. But then I remembered that Caligula means in Latin, 'little boots'. And then it struck me how appropriate the phrase 'little boots' was to Hillary. You know, boots as in the old Jane Fonda's song, "These boots were made for walking.....I'll walk right over you..." Which is pretty much what Hillary has done all her life. (I don't know if her feet are little or if she has man feet.)
Also,If I am not mistaken in my history of the Clinton White House, it was Bill's own little Centurion, Hillary, that was the kick ass enforcer at Pennsylvania Avenue. You could say she had 'street cred'.
Then of course I associate boots with infantry and marching, marching long distances. Just like Hillary has done the life long march to power and the White House.
Boots. Marching. Hillary. Caligula.
