A New Orleans city Councilwoman was busted going over 100mph down I-10 in New Orleans. Her response was the classic, "Do you know who I am?"
God, I hate self-important politicians.

I’m guessing she isn’t going to be happy with some of the people that know now her name.
Her driver told her it was wrong to use the emergency light when she was driving herself.
Council members have drivers?
I read the Officers reports on the link.
She was late for a meeting and was using her ‘blue light’ to get through heavy morning traffic.
The reports indicate this is not the first time she has done this.
How can a meeting possibly be an emergency? Why didn’t she get up an hour earlier instead of risking other drivers’ lives.
NOLA might be a great place to visit, but I wouldn’t want to live there considering the clowns who get elected to public office.
How about “Nope, that is why I will now ask for your license.”
And emergency lights! Out of my way, graft comin’ thru!
Sooner or later, she'll lose control, roll the SUV about nine times with her body hanging halfway outside the driver's side window getting thrashed into bloody hamburger chunks with every flip of the vehicle and the city of New Orleans can see how easy it is to replace a lowly city councilmember who, in the grand scheme of things, doesn't really amount to a whole lot.
We can bury what's left of her with her little blue strobe light flashing inside the sealed casket as we lower her remains down into the soggy earth.
She’s been doing this. Another Officer came forward about a previous incident. Her husband Arther Morrell is also a local politician. She’s of the same ilk as Marc Morial, they think they are royalty.
Until her and those like her are out, NOLA doesn’t have a chance.
The problem is that in so ding she would probably take out a car load of kids going to school or some other innocent driver.
The hussy needs to be stripped of both her blue light and her elected post.
This is New Orleans we're talking about, remember. Only mass fatalities ever manage to get anything done down there.
