I had the Fox News Channel on this morning. I wasn’t actually watching it, but only listening as I was doing some things on the computer. At one point there was a segment which showed a heated argument between Bill O’Reilly and Geraldo Rivera. I’m assuming the confrontation took place on Bill’s show last night(?), and that it was about this accident. Bill was making a point about the guy being an illegal alien and how he should have been tossed out of the country by authorities after his first arrest, and Geraldo was arguing that it wasn’t an issue of the guy being here illegally; that the issue was drunk driving. It was a pretty heated discussion with both men pointing their fingers in the others’ face. I didn’t see the actual program with the full exchange, so I don’t know how it actually started.

It was pretty funny. Geraldo simply wouldn’t consider the fact that the director and his son wouldn’t have been killed if the guy hadn’t been here illegally. Obviously drunk drivers are a hugh problem in this country. In the recent past several people have been killed in accidents with illegals. Geraldo deserved a smackdown.

I was watching the whole thing when it happened last night and I thought O'Reilly was going to punch Geraldo's lights out (and he should have). Geraldo is Hispanic so I guess he thinks he is defending his own. But he is WRONG on ILLEGALS.

Geraldo Rivera, senior correspondent for Fox News, told a group of Hispanic journalists vigilantes had created "hysteria along the borders" and advised his colleagues not to "let your newsroom push you around on the issue of immigration."

"Bust them on their hypocrisy," Rivera said at the annual awards gala of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists in Washington last week, according to a report by the Robert C. Maynard Institute of Journalism Education.
