I’m sure that Rudy would explain it in the same way he explains his suddnely all-over-the-map statements on abortion since he’s been running for President.

It’s a matter of the separation between state and Federal powers. Immigration, I’m sure he would say, is a Federal power and cities and states can’t be involved in it.

He’d be wrong, but that is what he’d probably say.

Yeah, Rudy says a lot of things. Most of it is pure B.S.

Rudy: I’m against illegal border crossings, I think everything should be done to discourage it...but, like abortion, we’ve found a right that the illegal aliens are entitled to here in the USA, and as long as they have that constitutional right I’ll fight to guarantee it. Further, if they are deprived of those rights due to lack of funds, I support public funding for their full constitutional enjoyment.
