Crystal Gail Mangum insists she was sexually assaulted at a Duke lacrosse team party, even though the state attorney general dropped all charges this week because of a lack of evidence and her conflicting versions. Mangum isn't offering an explanation. She continues to avoid reporters as she has in the year since she first claimed she was raped by three athletes. Even the people who know her only obscure the picture with their own contradictions about who she is.
But interviews and records obtained by The News & Observer make this much clear: The 28-year-old woman has struggled with poverty, alcohol abuse and psychological instability. In recent years she turned to therapists for help with bipolar disorder and other mental problems and took anti-psychotic medication.

Well, alrighty then...that makes it all okay.
She does not need to ruin others’ lives because of her own issues. There are so many Americans who have overcome poverty, drug abuse, etc. She likes playing the victim.
There’s some pretty astounding stuff in the article. Including the fact that she served in the Navy for a short period of time, got pregnant while serving on an ammunition ship, and then got discharged before serving her full stint, but apparently not because she got pregnant.
As we’d say down here in the South, “that girl’s a mess.” Now her being a “mess” doesn’t mean that the authorities shouldn’t have investigated her claims of rape when she first made them, of course. But it damn sure means that pursuing this case on nothing more than her word was a bad, bad, bad idea. When the corroborating evidence didn’t turn up, The Fong should’ve pulled the plug on it fast. IMO it makes Fong look even worse, and makes it even plainer that this was nothing more than a political maneuver to ingratiate himself with the Durham black community and get re-elected, ethics be damned.

Never Ever get involved, in any manner, with a stripper. It should be common sense.
Absolutely! And, the problem with going down that road is that once taken, he couldn't later pull the plug without infuriating that same community. Be careful who you bring to the dance.

And so begins the path to victim hood.
In the media’s haste to bury this story and victimize her, they identify her problems and then refuse to treat her problems by not charging her with filing a false complaint or accusation. She needs supervised treatment for a bi-polar disorder. Without the false complaint charge, she can refuse treatment, or walk out of treatment any time she pleases.
I am most concerned about her children- why is still allowed to raise these kids given all of her psychological problems. She has been moving from home to home, having frequent breakdowns and no one is stepping in? These children has no chance of having productive lives so long as they remain in her care.
She’s a victim, don’t you know. And those Duke boys are evil, because they’re rich and white.
Sounds like half of American women at one point or another. She needs to be charged. She needs to do hard prison time. At least one year in jail. If it takes Federal civil rights charges so be it. What if the charges had not been dropped? What if a jury had believed her? These men could have been sent away for decades. She MUST be charged, and soon, or there is no justice at all in this nation.

Michelle Malkim(sp) was sitting in for Bill and the black guy was such an ass and called her a prostitute for Bill or something equally ignorant. He had called the Lacrosse guys guilty and she asked him if he would apologise and he said no!!!!!!!!
Wasn’t there a white woman in CT who made up a report about being raped by a black man? She didn’t pick anyone up out of a lineup IIRC-no one was arrested because of her false report IIRC-but the local police still allowed themselves to be bullied into arresting her by the local chapter of the NAACP. And CGM gets a pass, even though she identified three men and put them through 13 months of hell, and their parents through great financial hardship?!?!
No lie. It looks like the injustice actually began when the ho agency sent this "thang" to the party.
Hence the multitude of unidentified DNA
