Oh don’t get me wrong...I’m not ignoring the rapist’s culpability in this; I’m merely stunned by the fact that it went on for a year without the father knowing about it, even though the father is intimate enough with his daughter to know about the emotional effects of her stretch marks.
I understand you. How could a father NOT know? Having an undeveloped part of a little girl’s body violated repeatedly would obviously create pain, would it not? I realize this is somewhat grotesque but wouldn’t the little girl complain, exhibit a different gait, etc.? 9 year old girls are not developed enough to withstand this. Something very fishy here in reference the father. Incidentally, I have a little girl.
Then you have more access to information than we do, for all I know the father works 60 hours a week and the rapist was a teacher.
