Far from a nation that takes its immigration laws seriously, we remain in a shoddy, dangerous state of immigration non-enforcement nearly six years after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks -- chaos that will only worsen if Congress and the White House join hands on a "comprehensive" illegal alien amnesty plan.Hammer

There is no need for a "comprehensive" illegal alien amnesty plan. What there is a demand for is a POTUS who will enforce the immigration laws ALREADY ON THE BOOKS, securance of BOTH borders and deportation of ALL illegal aliens including the incarcerated.(Why should Americans pay to incarcerated other countries' criminals.) Are you listening Fred Thompson?
If Bush had done these things right after 9/11 when his approval ratings were in the 90's, we wouldn't be in the mess we're in today.
11/2008 can't come soon enough for me!

If Amnesty is granted, it will be chamber 12-gauge, pump, BANG. The arms industry will make a killing on this one.
